BIG Management Inc. is looking to add to our growing team! We are a local property management and development company based in Bellevue, Washington that specializes as owner representatives in helping clients to acquire properties to bring out their full potential.
We are looking for a talented and driven individual to help daily accounting operations and/or projects from acquisition to post-construction. A successful applicant for this entry-level job should have excellent people communication skills, the ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, and sound time management. 1-year contract with the possibility of going full time!
General Summary of Duties:
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following areas (subject to change):
Strong with Microsoft Office applications, especially proficient in Excel and spreadsheets.
Maintain Accounting department files and records.
Process checks and verifies remittances against business accounts.
Ensures timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable
Reconcile bank accounts for certain properties.
Review budget templates for accuracy.
Assist with month-end close; credit card reconciliations and other bookkeeping.
Perform general clerical duties and assist with special accounting projects.
Understand Basic Lease language to search for late fees, interest charges, and understand Budgets and CAM Reconciliation language
Assist office administrative duties.
Qualifications:
One-year general Accounting/or Finance experience required.
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance
preferred
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a
fast-paced work environment.
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn fast and work independently or as part of a team and take on new tasks.
Strong computer skills and proficient Excel skills
Real Estate related experience is a plus.
SAGE accounting software experience is a plus.
